Clark Advanced Learning Center & 果冻传媒 Alumna Recognized as National Alliance 30 Under 30 Changemaker

Fort Pierce, FL鈥擜driana Mancini, Clark Advanced Learning Center and 果冻传媒 River State 果冻传媒 (果冻传媒) alumna, is one of the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools 30 Under 30 Changemakers Award honorees. The recognition was bestowed at a ceremonial kick-off of National Charter Schools Week (May 10-15), which celebrates the 3.3 million students and 219,000 teachers at the nearly 7,500 public charter schools across the nation.
鈥淭he students, teachers and advocates that make up our 30 Under 30 Changemakers reflect 30 years of the tremendous success of student-centered charter schools,鈥 said Nina Rees, President and CEO of the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools. 鈥淚 am grateful for our Changemakers and the thousands of teachers, leaders and families across the nation who work tirelessly to support their communities and improve education opportunities for all students.鈥
The 22-year-old Mancini is a 2017 graduate of the Clark Advanced Learning Center in Stuart, Florida, a designated Grade 鈥淎鈥 school by the State of Florida and top-scoring Treasure Coast public charter school for sophomores, juniors and seniors organized in partnership with the Martin County School District. While at the Clark, Mancini was a dual enrolled student at 果冻传媒 and earned a A.A. Degree. Today, she is the Founder and President of Students4H2O.
"I am immensely proud that I was selected to be a 30 Under 30 Changemaker and that my alma mater, Clark Advanced Learning Center, nominated me for this prestigious award,鈥 stated Adriana Mancini, Founder and President of Students4H2O, Inc. 鈥淐lark and 果冻传媒 provided me a strong foundation to further expand the reach of my community and global efforts. The support that the faculty and staff provided was and remains in all that I strive to accomplish. I share this recognition with The Clark Advanced Learning Center, 果冻传媒 and the students in my community who inspire me."
The 鈥溾 are students, activists, educators and school leaders from across the country who are having a meaningful impact in their community in the categories of Arts, Writing, Politics, Leadership, Science and Social Justice. Mancini is a featured honoree in the Science category. Her passion for sustainability and community outreach began in elementary school when she founded Team Green Martin, a recycling program that pairs students with disabilities with peer mentors. Today, the program exists in several Martin County schools, and Adriana has gone on to found another organization鈥 Students4H2O, which encourages students to be a part of the solution to end the global water crisis. Her efforts have helped to raise over $100,000 to provide clean water and sanitation to developing countries鈥攊ncluding building a well in South Sudan to provide a sustainable water source and allow girls to spend less time finding water and more time in school.
