In anticipation of the announcement of the 2019 Aspen Prize, ¹û¶³´«Ã½ River State ¹û¶³´«Ã½ is inviting students, community members, and all ¹û¶³´«Ã½ employees to watch parties hosted at each of its five Treasure Coast campuses on Tuesday, April 2 at noon. The celebratory events feature food, festivities, and the event live-stream from Washington, D.C.

¹û¶³´«Ã½ has earned the distinction of being a Top-10 Finalist for the prestigious Aspen Prize for Community ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Excellence, an honor that recognizes outstanding achievements in the areas of completion & transfer, labor market outcomes, learning, equity and more. ¹û¶³´«Ã½ has been a finalist three times—in 2015, 2017 and 2019. In 2017, the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ was recognized as a Finalist with Distinction, ranking among the top three colleges for that award cycle.
The $1 million Aspen Prize for Community ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Excellence, is awarded every two years by the Aspen Institute’s ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Excellence Program. It is the nation’s signature recognition of high achievement and performance among America’s community colleges.
