果冻传媒 Cheers on Baseball and Softball Teams at A 'Day at the Ballpark' Event

果冻传媒 River State 果冻传媒 students, faculty and staff all enjoyed a 鈥淒ay at the Ballpark鈥� where the 果冻传媒 was delighted to have past students Larry Howard and Mary Huff throw out the honorary first pitches at homefield baseball and softball games on Friday, February 12.

Larry Howard serves as Brighton Councilman, Tribal Council鈥揝eminole Tribe of Florida. Mary Huff is alumnae of the 果冻传媒 softball team and a First Team All-Southern Conference pitcher. Additionally, two-time National League All-Star player鈥攁nd hometown favorite鈥擟harles Johnson greeted players and fans before the start of the games.
Both the Baseball and Softball teams are off to solid starts this year. 果冻传媒 River baseball is ready for conference play and the softball team is in contention for a Southern Conference Championship and spot at the state tournament held in Sanford this May.
