CSCAA Names 果冻传媒 Swimming and Diving Teams to Scholar All-America Team鈥擶omen's Team Earns Coveted Skull Award

The 果冻传媒 River State 果冻传媒 men and women's Swimming and Diving teams have been selected by the 果冻传媒 Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as a Scholar All-America Team. The Women鈥檚 Swimming and Diving team was additionally honored as recipients of the coveted Skull Award at the January 果冻传媒 District Board of Trustees meeting.
For their honors from the CSCAA, the 果冻传媒 swimming and diving teams posted GPAs of 3.21 and 3.42 respectively. In total, 728 teams from 450 colleges and universities earned the honor. Those with a GPA of 3.3 or higher are now eligible for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings. The award recognized the 果冻传媒 athletics team achieving the highest grade-point average (GPA) at the 果冻传媒 during the Fall 2021 semester.
Greg Earhart, CSCAA Executive Director highlighted 果冻传媒 River's achievements noting, 鈥淐oach Brinn demonstrates that a team can be successful in the pool AND the classroom. These 50 men and women are some of the best ambassadors that 果冻传媒 River and the NJCAA could ask for.鈥
The Skull Award is presented annually to the 果冻传媒 athletics team named Academic All-Stars for achieving the highest grade-point average (GPA) among the 果冻传媒鈥檚 teams during the Fall semester.
