Event & Venue Management
In partnership and powered by AAG Live and ¹û¶³´«Ã½ River State ¹û¶³´«Ã½, students have an opportunity to train for a career in the event and venue management arena of entertainment.
This opportunity is only for those who are serious about making live entertainment and event coordination a career. Students receive elite instruction designed and taught by professionals in the field, learn and operate on a standard event and entertainment day schedule, and work with professional industry gear.
The curriculum covers everything you will need to know to be effective in the event industry, and was created from the knowledge and real-life experiences of our technicians and instructors. Job placement assistance is actively available for program completers.

In only 5 weeks of hands-on learning and classroom instruction, students will earn 16 AAG Industry Certificates in the following areas:
In this professional course, students will master the responsible of a production manager. Students will learn budgeting, location management, transportation and advancement. Students will also gain understanding of layouts, set designs and prop management.
In this professional course, students advance their knowledge in corporate, broadcast and stage lighting. Students will explore the history of stage lighting technology, and learn the fundamentals of lighting systems, dimmer systems, truss, and rigging systems. Additional subjects include green screen lighting, color selection, plotting and troubleshooting.
In this professional course, students explore how power is created, sustained and utilized safely in entertainment situations. Students will learn electrical components used in entertainment, as well as power distribution. Course will also cover signal flow and troubleshooting.
